Questions from illustrators

Can I separate commissions, personal work and prints?

Yes. Each collection becomes a menu item, so an art director can go straight to editorial work while a collector goes to prints. You choose the order of everything.

Which themes suit illustration?

Inkwell pins drawings to warm paper, Pulp uses bold panels and loud colour, Salon hangs work on a gallery wall and Folio lists projects as an index. You can switch between them at any time without losing anything.

Can I show my sketchbooks?

Yes, as their own collection. Sketchbook pages often become the part of a portfolio people remember, and keeping them separate lets finished work lead.

Can I sell prints from my site?

Semirare doesn't have a shop. You can add prices and availability to each work's description and take enquiries through your contact form, or link to your print shop from your About page.

Can I list my clients and my agent?

Yes. Your About page is free text with headings, so add a Clients or Represented by heading and list them underneath.
